Views from London

This Saturday, two of the leaders of our group took a large group of us to London for a very fast day tour of all of the highlights. It was a great trip because it showed me the things that I want to look further at next time!
I hope you enjoy looking at all of the places we journeyed....

Statue of Roosevelt at the American Embassy

Buckingham Palace...it was very crowded because of a parade. Not as spectacular as I had in mind. Maybe because of all of the constant crowds.

We got to Big Ben right at noon for the chimes.

The National Portrait Gallery

The 202 ft. Monument for the 1666 Great Fire of London included 311 stairs to the top for spectacular views of the entire city.

We are in LONDON!

Our visit to St. Paul's cathedral included attending an Evensong service. We were able to hear the London Boy's Choir. (wow!)

We enjoyed dinner in China Town, rode the tube back to the bus, and fell asleep...(well, at least I did!)
