A Special Day

After a great morning (flowers, breakfast, card) and a day of studying, John and I went to a new restaurant in Oxford for dinner. Afterwards, we went to the Sheldonian Theatre for a concert put on by the City of Oxford Orchestra. Built in 1664, this circle theatre houses many different concerts and events.

"Salute to Love" included performances of Vivaldi ‘Concerto for Two Oboes, Pachelbel ‘Canon’, Barber ‘Adagio’, Elgar ‘Salut d’Amour’, Boccherini ‘Cello Concerto’ and Elgar ‘Serenade for Strings’.

ps. Thanks John!
