Spring, Spring, Spring!
That is right...spring is just around the corner here in Oxford! I love spring---the smells, flowers, birds, change of weather, being outside again, green everywhere, baby lambs, (which we saw on the bus to a town by Oxford....very cute) storms approaching, etc. John can attest to this as I talk about it all the time when we are walking around outside.
On Friday we went on a great field trip to Winchester Cathedral, check John's blog for details on that....link at right. For my friend Meredith....a picture just for you: I saw Jane Austen's tomb; it is in Winchester Cathedral.

The other day John and I were walking through Oxford, our quaint University town which I have come to grow very fond of. Exploring is wonderful in Oxford because with a Bodleian Card, one has access to all of these very historic colleges that have magnificent things within their doors.
Last week we "found" New College. Through the doors on Holywell Street is a wide open courtyard with beautiful bulb gardens, green grass, and a rather odd staircase that leads to relaxing benches. It is all surrounded by a very old wall. Enjoy the views!
